My medium format Leaf AFi-II SLR, coupled with a Leaf Aptus digital back, was used in manual focus mode with no split screen for the whole project - which meant that the focusing was deliberately slow and therefore the image making process very calm and relaxed. Until Martin Sutherland stood in front of my camera and came up with 20 poses in roughly 30 seconds. I had no chance of keeping up with him and subsequently none of the portraits are in focus. Neither of us minded. Click on any image to enlarge.
